The Internet: We are Here!

Back to the 1995. I am not a netter yet. I didn't have an email account. I didn't have a website. I never joined a discussion on a BBS. And yeah, I even didn't know what the Internet is.

"Why don't you surf the net to get some informations about blah-blah-blah?" My friend asked me. Internet? What? Excuse me, what is that? And then he is telling me to much things about this global world.

I keep dreaming: one day, I should be a part of the Internet it self,... even just a user who use it in daily life.

And my dream come true. Around mid 1998, I had my first chance to get online. I still remember where I should pay 10.000,- IDR for an hour to get connect. No, I was not use a broadband connection, but dialup. With 36kbps speed, shared with 4 peoples, in a kiosk. What's a lucky day? In fact, that's a life!

Do you know what I am doing when I am enjoyed the lucky day? Surf the Yahoo! website. Try to found something about Who, What, When, Where, Why, How - we called it W5H1 question - the internet is. One day is not enough! Next day, I get back, again,... and again. 'Till I am understand what we can, and shouldn't do on this digital world.

And one thing of huge that is true is, we can build nor spread a business on the internet. We called it Online Business. But believe me, I personally recommend you to keep care the business ethic, even we will never meet the clients in the real world.
